Surry County Tourism is excited to unveil the Surry County Widget on their tourism website with integrated mobile apps creating an interactive way for guests to map out a unique trip itinerary for their visit to Surry County. Designed with the County’s partners at Visit Widget, this tool provides a new way to explore what Surry County has to offer, including historical sites, dining opportunities, outdoor activities, shopping, and more. Guests may view it all at once or search by categories like Dine, Stay, Events, and Tours. Just look for the "Plan Your Trip" icon which appears on every page of the website!
This is such an easy tool to use! Guests can view an activity, event, or restaurant and add it to a personalized plan focused on their particular interests or timeframe. Then, they can share that plan with friends and family via social media, email, or SMS. We’re even hoping that our local Surry fans will find the app helpful as they plan activities for their guests.
