Chippokes State Park will host the local 7th Virginia Regiment of the Continental Line for a special two-day event on June 1st and 2nd, 2024.
The event will include three total tactical reenactments and demonstrations with a glimpse into the battles, actions, and camp life experienced by soldiers during the American Revolution. Reenactors will portray both British and American forces with two battles scheduled on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Also included: Farm and Forestry Museum, tours of the Jones-Stewart Mansion, the Brick Kitchen with open hearth cooking demonstrations, food vendors, and access to the James River beach within the park.
