Take a step back in time and channel your inner "damsel in distress" at the Tournament of the Tower and Renaissance Fair.
This event resembles a renaissance festival, but it also includes a Buhurt International Classic Melee Tournament bringing together eight men's and three women's international fighting teams. Teams will compete in a "round robin" competition hosted by the Tidewater Dogs of War - a team of warriors located right here in Coastal Virginia. Tournament competition begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM on event day.
The event also includes a Highland Games exhibition and blacksmithing demonstration. Purchase from vendors and refresh yourself with beer, wine, mulled wine, and traditional mead.
The event takes place at Hampton Roads Winery, 6074 New Design Road, Elberon, VA 23846 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
All-day pass for adults - $10.00; children under 10 years enter free with an adult.
